AcadHelp may add, change or eliminate features, pricing, nomenclature and other aspects of the Services and make other changes at any time and these Terms will continue to apply to the Services as modified. We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the site or the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the site or the Services. The modifications may be modified as frequently as desired, and at the company's sole discretion.
AcadHelp reserves the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms of Use in our sole and absolute discretion. The most current version of these Terms of Use can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms of Use" located at the bottom of the home page of the AcadHelp Web site. The most current version of the Terms of Use will supersede all previous versions. Any such modifications will become effective immediately upon posting to the site and your continued use of the site, Services and/or Software constitutes your agreement to be bound by such changes. The terms may be modified as frequently as desired, and at the company's sole and absolute discretion.
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict a registered user's (student's or tutor's) use of our website or services, without notice, for any reason or for no reason whatsoever.
You must be 18 years of age or older to take tutoring (free trials or paid tutoring) or perform any other transactions at AcadHelp. If you are under 18 you must take permission from a parent or legal guardian before performing any transactions.
To use website, you will need to register
on the site and obtain an account, with your email ID as your user-name and a
password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your
account(s), and password(s) and for all activities and liabilities associated
with or occurring under your account and password .You agree that:
a) That
information about yourself that you provide will be true, accurate, and current
and complete (such information being "Your Data")
b) You will maintain and
promptly update Your Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete
c)
You will not to use the site, the Services or the Company Content to recruit,
solicit, or contact in any form Tutors or potential Customers for employment or
contracting for a business not affiliated with us without our advance written
permission.
a) For Institutional
clients
Institutional clients will include schools, colleges, school
districts, or other institutions / agencies / organizations with whom AcadHelp
has an agreement to provide tutoring to their students. To these institutional
clients AcadHelp will be providing tutoring services, as per the agreement with
them. From our database of freelance tutors we choose a distinguished group of
tutors to provide tutoring for institutional clients, who must not only be
excellent tutors but must satisfy all criteria specified by the client. For our
institutional clients we will meet all promised terms, as stated to them, which
terms may include doing background checks and also checking the educational
credentials of all tutors providing the tutoring. For background checks we use a
third party verification services ("Verification Services"), which makes
reasonable commercial efforts to confirm the validity of Tutors' claimed lack of
criminal history and also verify their educational credentials. We do not
control, and are not responsible for, the Verification Services or any
information provided by such Verification Service. Furthermore, we do not
endorse or make any representations or warranties regarding the reliability of
the Verification Services or Tutors.
b) For all other clients
To tutor at AcadHelp a Bachelor's higher degree is required. In addition tutor's knowledge of the subject must be thorough and tutor should plan to teach only the subject(s) he/she knows best. Anyone with these basic qualifications is welcome to open an account as a (prospective) tutor, browse and understand how our website works, submit their Resume and Educational Documents, and fill in and submit their Profile for approval. Tutors whose profiles are approved are ready to tutor on our website. ONLY SELECTED TUTORS WILL BE APPROVED. Selection of tutors is solely at our discretion and we do not divulge all our criteria.
Without limiting other remedies available to AcadHelp, a tutor found to be in violation of above code of conduct agrees to pay AcadHelp for all consequential losses of revenues, earnings, and fees and also reimburse us for all costs and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) related to investigating such breach and pursuing collection of damages.
AcadHelp reserves the right to change prices of it’s Unlimited Tutoring packages without advance notice and to offer promotions periodically to certain group of customers and thus not available to all customers. Prices will not rise during the current month of subscription or during the duration of a test prep package but can change for subsequent months or test prep packages.
Please note that our tutors are from USA /UK and India and they may not be available on major religious or national holidays of these countries. Such days will not amount to more than 5 days of the 365 days (or 366 days in case of a leap year) of the year.
Homework and Assignment help is intended to provide you with guidance on understanding your assignment and not to replace your academic efforts designed to be part of your curriculum. Help is provided on the understanding and agreement that you will use information provided by the tutors(s) for study purposes only and that you will not submit this information as original student work for course credit or grade.
The AcadHelp web site allows you and other third parties to post comments, give feedback concerning the services offered, our tutors, and subject content distributed by us. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or other information that constitutes part of the content expressed or made available by third parties on the AcadHelp Web site are those of the respective authors or producers and not of AcadHelp or its shareholders, directors, officers, or employees. Under no circumstances shall AcadHelp or its shareholders, directors, officers, directors, or employees be held liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on information obtained through the AcadHelp Web site. It is your responsibility to evaluate the information, opinion, advice, or other content available through the AcadHelp Web site.
The company content, the site, the services and each portion thereof are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind either express or implied. To the fullest extent possible pursuant to applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, with respect to the site, the company content, the services and each portion thereof, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or other violation of rights. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless us, and our affiliates, officers, directors, agents, partners, employees, licensors, representatives and third party providers (including our affiliates' respective officers, directors, agents, partners, employees, licensors, representatives, and third party providers), from and against all losses, expenses, damages, costs, claims and demands, including reasonable attorney's fees and related costs and expenses, due to or arising out of any User Content you submit, post to, email, or otherwise transmit to us or through the Services, your use of the Services, the Company Content or any portion thereof, your connection to the Services, or your breach of these Terms.
